Edwardian Era Diamond Starburst Pendant

A bold turn-of-the-century convertible pendant and brooch made in platinum.  It is likely that this was once  the central element of an elaborate tiara. The additional tiara elements have been lost with time.  The primary old European cut diamond is estimated to weigh approximately 1.30 carats. There are approximately 6.5 carats of additional stones.. The brooch fixture is detachable, so it can be converted into a pendant. The piece includes a custom tool for removing the pin fitting. England, circa 1910.
