Victorian Era Old Mine Cut Diamond Maltese Cross

Antique Maltese cross with old mine cut diamonds, in silver topped gold setting. Center diamond is approximately 1.25 carats, with approximately 4 carats of additional diamonds. The original brooch fixture is detachable with a hinged loop which converts it into a pendant This piece can be worn as a pendant or a brooch. English in origin. Circa 1870.
