Georgian Era Ruby and Diamond Girandole Earrings

The girandole design consists of three pear-shaped drops suspended from a central bow motif. The design was popular towards the end of the 17th century through the 18th century. When the style's popularity diminished, elements were often disassembled and utilized in reduced form, making examples in original form quite rare. Rose-cut diamonds are set into the central element in silver, while the ruby stones are set in 18k gold. Continental Europe, circa 1760.

Measures 1.50" in drop length and 1" in wide.
