Early 20th Century Sugar Loaf Cabochon Sapphire Ring

Early 20th-century platinum ring with unique high-domed Sugarloaf cabochon sapphire in a heavy platinum setting. Approximately 5 carat no-heat Ceylon Sapphire with AGL certificate indicating origin and no treatment of any kind. Beautiful cornflower blue with matched step-cut side stones. The center stone has fantastic clarity.  Circa 1920.
