18th Century Iberian Precious Topaz Double Headed Eagle Pendant

The Double-Headed Eagle is a symbol dating back to ancient cultures such as the Egyptians, Babylonians. This interpretation dates to the late 18th-century and would be Portuguese or Spanish in origin. Circa 1770. 

Precious topaz stones are set in silver. 

The double-headed eagle is also known as a phoenix, a mythical bird was said to live up to 500 or 1000 years.
