Victorian Era Onyx and Diamond Beetle Locket

Late Victorian era black onyx and gemstone beetle locket. A carved black onyx shield with original gold panel and glass intact. The gemstone beetle is crafted in gold with old mine cut diamonds making up the body and garnet cabochon wings and eyes. English in origin. Circa 1870.
