18th Century Topaz and Diamond Pendeloque Earrings

18th century pendeloque earrings with precious topaz and diamonds.  Style and form typical of the Iberian Peninsula.  Pendeloque designs were in favor since the early part of the 18th century, the proportions and details evolving over 100 years of popularity.  Original earring backs with wig hooks intact. Circa 1760. Portuguese in origin.
