Victorian Era Whitby Jet Cameo Bracelet

Rare Victorian era Whitby jet cameo bracelet. Each panel has individual carved hard shell cameo plaques. Carved panels are strung on stretch cord which was its original form. The best carvers in Whitby were sent to Naples, to train in the tradition of cameo carving. English in origin. Circa 1870. 

Inner circumference measures approximately 6.75". Bangle is 3.25" at its widest point. Perfect for a small to medium wrist size.
