Victorian era Ruby and Diamond Crescent Moon

The crescent moon can represent the alluring promise of a new beginning wherever there is an end as well as the promise of more light to come. We have an example in ruby and old mine cut diamonds set in silver and 18k gold. English in origin. Circa 1880.
