Victorian era old mine cut diamond flush set ring

Late Victorian-era old mine-cut diamond ring in a heavy 18k gold gypsy-style setting. The old mine-cut diamond measures approximately .90 carats and has a nice high crown. Its approximated quality is H/I color and VS2 clarity.

The richly colored gold has developed a soft feel. The band's interior has an engraving that has nearly worn away with time. There is a marker mark visible, Hickslay & Co. English in origin, circa 1890.
