19th Century Onyx and Diamond Bumble Bee Locket

Victorian era black onyx and diamond locket. A carved single piece of black onyx in the form of a locket with original glass intact. 15 karat gold details. Topped with a gemstone bumble bee; ruby eyes, rose cut diamond wings, pearl and old mine cut diamond body. English in origin. Circa 1870. 

Measures 2" in drop length and 1.25" in width.
