Victorian Era Turquoise and Diamond Necklace


This is a rare example of an elaborate 19th-century collar necklace. Natural Persian turquoise stones are cut in the shapes of amphoras, with rose-cut diamonds set at the sharp tip of every setting. The necklace is made of 18k gold and was made in England, circa 1860.

Hidden push clasp. Necklace measures 17.75" in total length. The longest turquoise danger from measures 1.50" in drop length.
