Antique Emerald Snake Pin

A bold figural piece with over five carats of bright green emeralds. The snake pattern is executed with seven graduated emeralds, striped with sixteen old European cut diamonds. Complete with a split tongue detail. Crafted in 18k yellow gold with a hinged clip/pin attachment, allowing the piece to be worn on fabric or as a hair ornament.  Continental Europe, circa 1900.
